  • Seafood
  • Meat

Now compare and contrast that with what you traditionally find in the inner aisles:
  • Chips
  • Cookies
  • Soda
  • Pasta
The idea is to plan your grocery list around the items you can get in the healthy, outer aisles and avoid the dangerous inner aisles. If you can get yourself to do this every trip to the store, you won't find the bad snacks and unhealthy foods making the trip home from the grocery store with you.

Okay, so what about cereal? That's good for you right? There are some items that you will need from the dangerous inner aisles, this is where you may need to reconfigure your shopping. If you need to, make two trips to the grocery store.
 The first trip will be for food from the outer ring of the store.
 The second trip will be for paper goods and such, and for the VERY FEW food items you may need to get from the inner aisles.
 If this isn't feasible for you, then you will need to put on blinders during your trip down the evil aisles, and do things to keep you focused on your smart shopping such as:
  • Make a list before going to the store - Don't deviate from the list
  • eat a meal before you go to the store. This will keep you from thinking about food.
  • Chew a piece of gum while shopping. Again, to keep your mind off of food.
This can be a helpful weight loss tip if you use it properly.
 By shopping healthier you will begin eating healthier and the time you don't spend in the grocery store can be spent engaging in other weight loss tips such as going for a walk or planting some flowers.
